At Christine's funeral service on the 18th March 2006 guests kindly contributed to a collection in aid of MND; a total of £520.00 was raised. Her family would like to thank everyone for their generous donations.

Christine was my sister and my best friend. I will always love her & now feel a real emptiness since she passed away. Although I knew she would slip away I still find it hard to believe she has gone, it seems like only yesterday when we were sharing a joke and having a laugh. I was pleased on the day of her funeral to see so many of her friends & relatives there, and to hear their memories and how much they all cared for her. Her passing will be a tremendous loss to us all.

Christine was a perfect Aunty to my two children and a perfect sister-in-law to both me & my wife. The holidays that our two families shared together will always be remembered with happiness. The impromptu Saturday nights, that always started as a half hour visit and usually lasted until the not-so-small hours of Sunday morning, were a wonderful example of how, with Christine, time could fly by just talking, listening to music and enjoying ourselves. The courage and determination shown by Christine has been an inspiration to all those who knew and loved her. I and my family consider ourselves honoured and privileged to have known her and our lives are much the poorer for her passing. She will be greatly missed.
